For the digital twin representation to be accurate, it is very important that the installation of a device is done according to the vendor's installation instructions and guidelines. The term provisioning for a device means to evolve a device to a state in which it can be handed off to an end-user, or end-user team, for their specific use in a functional manner.
After ordering any hardware, it has to be provisioned on our Platform before it can be activated by a user. This can be done using CORE web app. Should you however require assistance form our team, kindly contact us.
Before any hardware can be activated, it is imperative that basic testing are completed to ensure the device is operating as expected. This is done in the form of a series of actions you need to perform. These actions can be completed using our CORE mobile app. Should you however require assistance from our team, kindly contact a Sethala helpdesk representative to verify the tests and ensure that the required information is correctly reflected on our Platform. You may be requested to perform all or any of the following tests:
These tests are important for us to validate that the device and connectivity is performing as expected and that the installation, including the wiring, has been done correctly so that sensor data reflects accurately on our Platform.
After successful completing testing, the device will be activated and switched to a productive state.
